Getting Up (Part 2) – Arrogance In Belief

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill

It is quite striking how often in our lives we collide with the very definitions of our lives. It is quite shocking how often we are demanded to reshape the lenses through which we view the world. It is quite scary how often we have to deal with major contradictions of our vantage points. It is quite saddening to have to deal with the fact that sometimes, despite our best efforts, we will incur some damage. It is startling to know that in order for us to Look Forward in order to Move Forward. We have to accept this inevitable pain as a necessary reality of walking the line between chaos and order while remaining alive to the opportunities born from this pain.

The burdens each of us carry daily is a task of Herculean proportions to each person alone. See, to bear the weight of your wretched circumstance is as though we are holding up our own universe. A universe whose stability is solely dependent on the strength of our shoulders.

So here we are, mere superheroes walking around. Bearing the weight of our Universe.  yet we seem to act as though we are not. We haul zero comforts from the fact that even on our worst days, we are at our sharpest

So how does one continue to purposefully Look Forward? How does one gather enough resources to Move Forward? When everything says to quit? I have no direct answers I do not think anyone does. So instead I draw determination, grit and will to live on a singular philosophy;

“That is the vision is set for an appointed time. Though it may tarry. Wait for it. It will be truthful, it’s rewards will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:3).

By having this arrogance in the belief. I’m able to keep Getting Up. Friends the basis of all movement whether mentally speculative at first, we still need to start a point of Zero. The ancient Arabian mathematicians have allowed us a quantifiable value within the natural chaos of existence that 0 has come to represent. It is a moment crucial in Getting Up.

At this impasse, choices are offered, chaos is in motion and you have to redefine your order. See friends this pause, speed bump, knockdown or curveball does not concern it’s self whether your circumstance is just. Like zero it cares not if you fall on the negative or positive field. Still, the possibilities either side remain infinite.

The Getting Up process is yours alone to bear. With your innate Herculean strengths. By grounding yourself in the overarching belief of an abundant benevolent belief. We can choose that when the fire comes, either we are inclined to come out as perfected ceramic or unrecognized like plastic.
